Infrastrucural elements are considered structures. To realise them, either blueprints produced by architects or patterns are required, construction works need to be organised and planned, materials need to be collected and the work has to be carried out in a specific order and the erected structure will need to be inspected after completion. Just like buildings and crafting stations they can be prone to wear or other forms of loss of value and integrity, making them require maintenance in some way. Unlike buildings they can consist of multiple connected identical elements to form one multistructure, like a road, a wall or a levee, and they generally do not serve a purpose to contain things. An exception to this general rule are mines, which can be considered 'mining infrastructure'.[1] And unlike crafting stations they do not serve a purpose to convert any input into a different kind of output.
