Little is known about cooking right now, but cooks' and chefs' main jobs will be involved in in the manufacture of food and beverages. Food and beverages will be important in Elyria because your character will suffer from hunger and thirst.
In addition, you can select preparing food as one of the mundane tasks of your OPC.[1]
Crafting
We do not need recipes for all cooking[2] but you need different ingredients that you can get by looting creatures, gathering materials or buying in a market.
